October 19, 2026: giving the trailer more life

I decided to use the living room as the basis for the basement and bring the
new characters together after rigging them in Blender. That scene now has
Haley, Jack, Braden, Jillian and Gabby standing in the furnished room with subtle
body motion. Danny has a rig too, but his story introduction still belongs in
the later reunion.

Seeing everyone together exposed a scale problem: the supplied furniture was
too large beside the children. The room study corrects that, adds stairs and
exposed beams, and gives the doll and dream doorway their own space. The original
asset is preserved. I now have an editable scene and a short motion preview to
judge, along with separate arm and leg tests for the new rigs.

The body rigs are a useful foundation, not the end of the character work.
Faces and individual fingers still need controls, and hair and clothing need
more refinement in motion. The scene study stays separate from the playable
chapter until dialogue, movement, camera clearance and collision are connected
and tested together.

There is also a separate Unreal basement preview now. The new character assets
and their matching idle clips imported at the intended sizes. That lets me review
them in the engine while keeping the existing playable chapter available.

I added a living-room package as a possible basis for Grandma's basement, along
with three academy candidates. The review gives me different uses to consider:
furniture for the opening, a castle for the main hall, a bamboo retreat and four
separate towers for the academy grounds. The room still needs a playable basement
layout around it. Its broken image links were repaired from files already in the ZIP.

The castle arrived without its referenced textures. Some product pages now ask
me for payment, so the source links and missing package are still unresolved.
The tower and garden files have their textures available for review. I can judge
those now while the castle stays a geometry study; none has replaced the current
game environment yet.

I added generated models for Danny, Braden and Gabby using the single-character
references. The intake now gives me actual front, back and close-up renders to
judge. Their outfits and identities carry into 3D, but Gabby's fine hair needs
more cleanup, and Danny still has a fixed stern expression. None of these new
meshes has an animation skeleton or facial controls yet.

My priority remains Danny. The next useful milestone is to see him bend and move
with a local body rig, following the approach used for Haley. The detailed source
models are preserved while we work toward lighter game assets. The current
playable cast stays available during that work.

I wanted the trailer to sound stronger and begin showing the work taking shape
in 3D. This revision replaces the earlier synthesized score with Scott Buckley's
orchestral Discovery and adds timed sword sweeps, energy contacts, ice crackles
and deeper transition impacts. The music credit travels with the video and its
publishing notes.

I kept the black opening title and the Empire Nexus Labs / Dream World Productions
credits. The new cut also includes Haley's actual rigged model and a short Unreal
moment with Danny and Gabby. The illustrated action still shows the destination;
the labeled 3D and engine footage shows where development stands. Haley's new
body rig is still separate from gameplay, and the earlier trailer cuts are saved.
