ABOUT EMPIRE NEXUS STUDIOS

For the stories
that never
left us.

A lifetime playing.
Over a decade reviewing.

It was time to make them. Empire Nexus Studios brings a lifetime of adventures into new worlds, built with the curiosity of a player and the imagination of a storyteller.

Meet the designer
OLD SOULS. NEW WORLDS.

01 / MEET THE DESIGNER

A player first.
A storyteller always.
Now, a creator.

Published author.
Technology consultant.
Lifelong RPG player.

I spent over a decade reviewing games and a lifetime playing them. Eventually, it was time to make them.

My love of RPGs stretches from pen-and-paper adventures around a table, through the early computer role-playing games, to the worlds of modern RPGs. The technology has changed, but the pull of a great story—and the freedom to find your own way through it—has stayed with me.

As a published author and technology consultant, I bring storytelling and technology together at Empire Nexus Studios. The aim is to create engrossing, narrative-driven games that carry the imagination of those early adventures into the present.

02 / WHAT GUIDES US

The things we
come back to.

01

The story comes first.

We are drawn to worlds with a reason to exist. A question worth asking. A character worth understanding. An idea that stays with you after you stop playing.

02

Nostalgia is a beginning.

The past gives us a spark, not a boundary. We return to the feeling of discovery in classic games and imagine where it can take us now.

03

Curiosity belongs to you.

We want to make worlds you can think about, question, and explore. The most memorable discoveries are the ones you feel you made yourself.

DIFFERENT WORLDS. A SHARED INSTINCT.

A labyrinth made of memory.
A play waiting to be inhabited.
Both begin with “what if?”

In The Labryinth of Memory, John inhabits the companions of a game he shared with his father. In Perchance, a travelling actor searches for truth inside Hamlet. Both make the player’s participation part of the story.
