October 23, 2026: Give the story a movie trailer

The next refinement keeps the music I liked and gives the gameplay more room.
I want viewers to understand why Jack's walkway or Jillian's trampoline helps
them, so the captions now explain those choices. Gabby's charm also needs the
right image: her making eye contact with Golgotha and sending him back to help
the family. A picture of Danny beside her was sending the wrong message.

After seeing the first cut, I wanted the art to tell the viewer more. The new
captions identify the kids and connect their powers to what they can do. I also
wanted a stronger final invitation: “Join the fight for good.” The closing title
now stays on screen with the family and “Discover your power,” with “your” in
bold italic. It should invite the viewer into the adventure.

I want the trailer to make someone curious about the family and the Dream World.
The basement matters: these are kids spending an evening together before the
impossible becomes real. The new cut starts there, after the title and studio
cards I requested, then builds through the awakening, powers and Danny's action.
Gabby belongs in that emotional thread, and the family gets the final image.

I also want a glimpse of play. The ice walkway and canopy bounce now have short
Unreal captures in the edit. They are staged with a trailer camera and labeled
as prototype footage; the illustrated scenes still represent the visual target.
I do not want the trailer to blur that distinction. Braden's standard still
applies: there must be something interesting to do behind the presentation.

The orchestral score has a new mix with a quieter opening and effects around
the action beats. The finished render and its review files stay local, preserving
the previous versions and avoiding another large Git upload. Listening and
judging the pacing are still part of reviewing the cut, beyond its technical
checks.

October 23, 2026: Let me find another way

I asked for a senior designer's assessment because adding more features is not
enough on its own. I want the family, the powers and the place to feel connected.
Braden's criticism still gives me the test: can I have a useful idea, try it and
want to come back with another one?

The first step is the market. I can take the street, ask Jack for an ice walkway,
or use Jillian's trampoline to reach a canopy. These are ways of moving through
the same problem, and I can change my mind. Gabby's part in turning the battle
stays at the heart of the encounter. I do not want route choices to erase her
contribution or Golgotha's future.

I also want to spend less time reading instructions across the screen. The new
interface puts the next action closer to the decision, and the cousins gesture
from their actual positions instead of appearing as duplicates beside Haley.
The routes still need a human judgment about balance, clarity and fun. I am not
calling a passing automated route test a successful playtest.

The opening's playable discoveries, a consistent visual standard and a stronger
role for Danny at the academy are still on the plan. I want to carry a proven
standard forward. For now, we are using the assets we have and keeping temporary
captures local so another design pass does not become another large Git bill.
