Keep your feet — 5.43.0

A narrative adventure needs something enjoyable between questions. This pass gives Marcellus a small, playable lesson with a beginning, a challenge and an earned finish. The player holds a guard, turns two blows, then makes a real counterattack. These are the same inputs used in later danger. Practice costs no health, and a wider timing option earns exactly the same recognition. Marcellus coaches in short spoken phrases while the player keeps control. A practice knot and a single discovery award remember the achievement without encouraging repeated point farming.

We also worked on the moments that make a place believable. The fountain should not sound equally clear through masonry. Local environmental sources now lose brightness and volume behind obstacles, then open up smoothly as the player rounds a corner. Beds recede beneath speech. Maren's working hands have a small sound near the linen table, with quiet gaps between gestures. The aim is a household with activity in particular places, not a soundtrack laid over every room.

Movement received similarly practical changes. Liv eases into corners and her foot contacts follow the distance she actually travels. The player can step over low fixed thresholds when there is room for the capsule and a supported landing. Higher obstacles, moving props and low ceilings remain barriers. A focused hidden walkthrough uses controller inputs to finish the lesson and checks walking without jumping; it never takes control of the desktop mouse.

This remains a prototype with procedural performances and synthetic voices. The new activity gives players a skill to master, while the existing investigations supply its human context. The published films retain their previous footage; this pass belongs to the playable game. Detailed results and platform limits stay in the release verification.

The words you carry — 5.44.0

The first mystery should begin with the work of being a player. The company needs its script; the court wants control over what the company says. This pass connects that practical problem to evidence the player handles. A crossed-out mourning line, a cue on the reverse and a folded household account each require a deliberate look. The company table becomes a place to lay the documents together and argue about what they support. The learning happens in the choice between an observation and an accusation.

Liv now has more to say when the chase ends. Recovering the folio settles the immediate task, but deciding what to tell the steward sets another story in motion. A player who shows mercy can still offer protection; one who threatened her cannot erase that with a friendly sentence. Later she explains how a corrected delivery might open the archive. Naming her puts an entry on the steward's desk. This extends the existing consequence system with visible and spoken acknowledgment. We also found and fixed the interaction predicate that could leave her return visible but unusable.

An audience does not freeze the rest of a household. After the welcome, Maren walks from her linen station to clear the chapel table. Her hands work at the surface, the white linen becomes a folded stack, and the account remains for a player who missed it. Her conversation distinguishes doing a job from endorsing a king. Existing Polonius reports and the friends' exchanges continue to follow story events. We use short authored routines rather than send every resident on an endless patrol.

At night the same castle should feel changed. Horatio remembers the comparison and brings the player back to the question of reliable witnesses. Fortinbras gives the watch's caution political meaning. The initial watch leaves music aside: sea wind, the court's guns and guarded voices carry the scene. Bernardo's spoken concern leads him to check another post. The ghost still arrives on the player's bell cue, saying “Mark me.”

Twenty-two brief synthetic performances use the established cast, with Shakespeare reserved for guidance. Phrase pauses and restrained processing keep the words clear, but these remain stock synthetic voices and procedural actors. Focused tests and a hidden controller/capture walkthrough check the new chain. Builds stay in the single current folder; the published films retain their existing footage. The release verification records the actual results and the remaining hardware limits.

The standalone check caught a practical mistake: Maren's first clearing route ran through her own worktable. We moved the route around its end. That is why a saved task flag is not enough to validate a living household; the actor must actually reach the work.
